Willem Bravenboer of IMA designed the Flutterby for the MicroMag, a 60 cm span model of about 40 grams.
It flies easy and is well controllable. It is one of the few planes with which you can actually learn to fly in the hall.
The model uses the MicroMag, a Kenway KR-1 and 3 cells.
This version is still bigger at 80 cm and uses the Kenway with am 11.8:1 gearing and a 230 mm prop.
When flown from the water the usual 3 cells are replaced with 4 to get it of the water with ease.
